The keen interest of the educational community in HELMEPA’s environmental Exhibitions continues during February

Organized tours of students and teachers to HELMEPA’s environmental Exhibitions continued in February. Specifically, 360 students with 26 accompanying teachers from 10 Primary schools in Athens and Piraeus enjoyed guided tours of the two exhibitions, hosted by Member company Costamare Shipping in Paleo Faliro and at Ceres building in Piraeus.

Following are indicative comments made by teachers:

  • “Congratulations on providing knowledge and awareness to tomorrow’s inhabitants of our planet. You constitute  hope for the future, for life! Thank you!”
    11th Primary School of Glyfada, 5th Grade
  • “Congratulations! In this way you contribute to our efforts to sensitize our students, tomorrow’s citizens, on the issues of environmental protection. Thank you very much!”
    27th Primary School of Athens, 3rd Grade
  • “Congratulations on the wonderful presentation of the program! The organization was terrific and our escort’s approach was simple and well  understood by the schoolchildren!! Thank you.”
    3rd Primary School of Drapetsona, 4th Grade
  • “Thank you very much for the hospitality at your premises and the very interesting information about the marine environment, which in addition to providing knowledge, sensitizes young pupils on vital issues. We warmly thank you for your initiative and for the free transport to your echibition.”
    1st Primary School of Nikea, 5th & 6th Grade

Since the beginning of the school year, 43 visits of 1,202 students and 83 escort teachers have taken place, while another 26 visits of 700 students and 50 teachers have been scheduled until the end of May.
