“9 Steps for Cleaner Seas and Beaches”

Α “pocket” leaflet where HELMEPA presents in brief the problem of pollution from single use plastics, providing useful information on the threat mainly to marine life, as well as to ourselves. The leaflet proposes 9 simple steps that we can all follow to protect the marine environment.

Τhis e-publication (available only in Greek) was compiled in the framework of the three year-long (2012-2014) Marine Environment and Science Awareness Campaign, executed by HELMEPA in 12 Greek cities with the support of the Lloyd’s Register Foundation (the Foundation)*.

 

HELMEPA’s intention is to provide schoolteachers and any other interested parties, with specific information to cover those gaps in environmental knowledge and awareness which were detected during the running of the Campaign. The aim is to contribute to the efforts of schoolteachers in the classroom towards enriching the environmental knowledge of their students and furthermore, to help the latter in paving their professional orientation.
