During their visit, we informed them of HELMEPA’s voluntary and non-profit mission and activities within the shipping industry, the wider Greek society and in the international field through the similar associations (MEPAs) in 7 other countries. They informed us about Sweden’s recent environmental protection initiatives and had the opportunity to see in operation HELMEPA’s Full Mission Bridge Simulator, which HELMEPA offers for the training of Member Companies’ and Vessels’ officers.

Both our guests and we at HELMEPA expressed the desire to explore possibilities of cooperation in the near future.
