In total, 1,000 Greek and foreign seafarers and office staff have attended the 9 webinars of the 2021 Refresher Training Program that have taken place so far and which continue on a weekly basis. Additionally, there is a large increase in the use of the e-learning program comprising 15 contemporary maritime safety and pollution prevention topics in English and provides certification to participants.

A new addition to the services provided to Members is the free access and use of the Voluntary Incident Reporting Platform (VIRP) created by Corporate Supporter DYNAMARINe as part of the project titled “Enhancing the Understanding of New and Enduring Challenges in Maritime Safety Culture in the Eastern Mediterranean” implemented by HELMEPA in collaboration with LR, CYMEPA and supported by Lloyd's Register Foundation (*).
